 | 2.5 and 365 Raduis server I have been asked by a client to come up with a Radius software that can handle both 2.5 and 365 wimax. I used Radius in the past but they were told the current software can't support both systems. Is that true any know a good one that both will work on? thanks. |

Only thing that would prevent your hardware from working with your radius server would be if the hardware vendor hadn't implementing radius support at all. |

Radius is an authentication and accounting server. It is used by many vendors to authenticate access. Just your vendor needs to support it.
Free radius can be made to work with just about anything. -- OptionsDSL Wireless Internet »www.optionsdsl.ca |

 | reply to utshost As was said above. Radius is Radius. If the equipment says it will work with it, it will work with it.
Now when it comes to certain radius REPLIES, that's another story, but that's all depending on your setup. One radio may or may not understand the replies of another, that's your job to separate it somehow. Depends how nitty-gritty you want to get, and how the equipment uses Radius. |

 | reply to utshost If your talking about Freeradius, I would have a hard time believing that but would need more information about the NASs in question. As has already been stated, radius can be configured for just about anything but the NAS needs to support some sort of radius auth. |
