First Warning

So ok, some of us are getting hit with these and other people are not, so att is not playing fair with it's customer base. Fine and dandy, my wallet will not play fair if they do end up charging me the next go around, tired of a fucking cap that has nothing to do with anything real, If this was a real problem everybody would know about it. Charge me att and see where this will go is all I can say.

Dear AT&T High Speed Internet Service Customer,

We want to remind you that your AT&T High Speed Internet service includes 150 gigabytes (GB) of data for each billing period.

You have exceeded 150 GB this billing period.

We'll waive the charges for additional data this month and notify you as your usage approaches 150 GB in future months.

The next time you exceed 150 GB you'll be notified, but not billed. However if you go over your data plan in any subsequent billing period, we'll provide you with an additional 50 GB of data for $10. You'll be charged $10 for every incremental 50 GB of usage beyond your plan.

Well, if you dont like ur dsl. Then switch to Comcast or Uverse internet(if available in ur area) Comcast offer 250gb data cap and Uverse internet still unlimited until they get their meter working or not

Already looking at comcast, No way am I sticking with another product (uverse) that is from these people and there is a 250gb cap for uverse since that meter does work here so there is no unlimited.

This much I do know first hand, but atleast with comcast I wont get plucked and tarred for going over an imaginary bandwidth falsehood.

They here soon will take this dsl and my home phone Ive had for 20 years and put it into a nice little box and say damn, we lost another long time customer (which they wont even bat an eye at)

Well they finally got around to posting a graph, yeah a graph no idea what day or days I managed to cram it to the cap though, which is bullshit. I need to check my days out to see what was the heaviest, but nope no can do, just give me a stupid graph.. but some how and I've not figured out how yet, with our normal usage we're hitting right now 80gigs a month, this I do know, but some how I was at 183.52gb for the billing period. um no I do not think so at all

Since I have no wireless nobody is stealing it, netflix and other streaming services have been cancelled right after this capping shit took place (thanx att) so was not that... soo what was it? seriously.

Unfair bullshit when we can not get the simple tools and an accurate meter to watch it like we want.

So I await another email telling me I have went over the cap and then I await the charge for it, 20+ years of being with these people will be no more.

But what do they care, oh that's right they do not.

(just talking the executives and such, the little guys I have zero issues with)

The fact that you're even waiting for it to happen instead of leaving tells AT&T what they're doing is right because you're fighting to stay instead of voting with your dollars and leaving. You're in an abusive relationship.

End it, come back and tell us if you're happier or not with your new choice instead of telling us how battered and unhappy you are.

Yeah, it's that simple.

Getting Comcast Business Class service is not mutually exclusive to having concurrent DSL service. You started this thread 12 days ago. You called have called and had service installed 3 or 4 times over that period, tested it, and made your cut-over, with the safety-net AT&T if there's a problem.

Or you could continue to empower AT&T by complaining about it and feeling like a victim. It's really that simple.

heh talking with dsl extreme right now, I know reseller but atleast I aint gona have a cap or any real issues with them. Comcast is giving me the run around to why I am not going with them currently. but that's life
