Wireless Router Connection

I have a Belkin Wireless G Plus MIMO and lately I've been having trouble connecting to the router from my computer.
There is Internet connection and the other computers in the house have fine connection but my computer can't get access to the router when it turns on. Then I gotta repeat typing in the connection password over and over again for like 30mins or so then it connects. (it keeps saying that the password is wrong when it isn't)

any solutions?

If you and your computer are not further away from your router than the other computers it's most likely something with your wireless card/antenna. Are you using a laptop?

No, it's a desktop.
Some of my friends say that it might be a virus that keeps on changing my ports... your opinion?

There are no specific "ports" associated with a wireless connection to your router. Only services or web browsers (applications) use ports AFTER your connection to the router is established.

Does it work ok once you have finally connected? Are you seeing any significant packet loss, etc. ? Also, how does the strength of the wireless signal look once you have connected?
