Anyway, monitors within the IPS line vary in quality and features from one model to another. I don't remember ever seeing an IPS monitor as part of a bundled package, either.

When I got mine for $279 in December, it was the lowest price I'd seen up to that point, and still would be, had it not been for the weird $249 offer that only lasted a few hours. I'm really enjoying mine. The U2410 has a wider colour gamut but is an older design, with CCFL backlighting, and MUCH more expensive, so the U2412M is a really nice cost/price package.
