| [Serious] Update on Kathy Well due to Kathy's Dad's funeral on Feb. 2, her appointment with the surgeon was rescheduled to yesterday. Her tumor is very small and he said it looks like it was caught very early. He expects to just have to remove it which is the size of a small raisin and a small amount of surrounding tissue for safety and check the lymph nodes for any sign. No mastectomy or major surgery is anticipated at this time. Sounds encouraging. We are waiting for a call from the hospital for a date and time which should be today or Monday. It is supposed to be outpatient and about an hour. Let's keep our finger crossed! Thanks. |
