Re: Sprint just changed my contract.. Off the hook?

said by tired_runner:

Rosemary G.: This change allows Sprint to remain a value leader for individual and share plans. In fact, Sprint is the only national carrier to offer truly unlimited data plans for all phones with no overages, data caps or throttling while on the Sprint network.
You: Umm.. This means our service agreement has been changed from what it was originally.. Consequently it means I should no longer be on the hook for the contract.

Basically, this.

It's nice that you're the only truly unlimited carrier...and probably the only reason I'm staying with you. However, you changed the terms of my contract without consent (and not the +/- 1 dollar administrative wiggle either), and thus, contract broken.

Makes me think I need to look and see how our current agreement is going.

I'm shopping for carriers and deals before I make the call to Sprint. I've seen my bill go up roughly $20 in 2011 alone.
