 | Thanks for the heads up, I love this program. I can't figure out how to disable the splash screen. I can't find it in the options anywhere yet. |

 | I thought that's where it would be. For some reason mine copy doesn't have that option, I think I know what the problem is. Thanks for looking into it. |

 | Found the problem. For some reason it wasn't doing a full delete before it installed the new version. Now i have the 4.0.40. The more I use this program the more I love it. I like the fact that it can do everything the more complex programs claim to do, at speed much much faster! |

 | reply to hayc59 Very nice GUI and quite impressed so far, I've found that the system seems to be the snappiest IMHO after using the disk zone defrag. |

Snoopy2Premium join:2001-03-29 Mobile, AL | reply to hayc59 Was using the free version before this became available. After playing w/it only a short while, decided this was the better of the two. Had a $15 credit sitting at paypal, so my total cost for three copies was only $14.70. Say I got a good deal on this one, eh? Also disabling the splash screen speeds up the opening of the program! -- RM1 (USN-RET) |

 | I ditched PerfectDisk on all of our computers last year because it use to take forever to defrag a drive and it still left tons of fragments. I used the free version since then but now I am using the pro version. The only thing I did not like was the splash screen because it caused the program to load longer but now that you can disable it starts up right away and a regular defrag takes only about a minute. |

 Snoopy2Premium join:2001-03-29 Mobile, AL | Isn't this the same as "Offline Disk Defrag"? -- RM1 (USN-RET) |
|
 | reply to hayc59 Just click on the Schedule button, then select the offline defragmentation to get the "boot time" defrag |
