Thanks for the heads up, I love this program. I can't figure out how to disable the splash screen. I can't find it in the options anywhere yet.

I thought that's where it would be. For some reason mine copy doesn't have that option, I think I know what the problem is. Thanks for looking into it.

Found the problem. For some reason it wasn't doing a full delete before it installed the new version. Now i have the 4.0.40. The more I use this program the more I love it. I like the fact that it can do everything the more complex programs claim to do, at speed much much faster!

Very nice GUI and quite impressed so far, I've found that the system seems to be the snappiest IMHO after using the disk zone defrag.

Was using the free version before this became available. After playing w/it only a short while, decided this was the better of the two. Had a $15 credit sitting at paypal, so my total cost for three copies was only $14.70. Say I got a good deal on this one, eh? Also disabling the splash screen speeds up the opening of the program!

I ditched PerfectDisk on all of our computers last year because it use to take forever to defrag a drive and it still left tons of fragments. I used the free version since then but now I am using the pro version. The only thing I did not like was the splash screen because it caused the program to load longer but now that you can disable it starts up right away and a regular defrag takes only about a minute.

Isn't this the same as "Offline Disk Defrag"?

Just click on the Schedule button, then select the offline defragmentation to get the "boot time" defrag
