New York, NY | Ch. 21 NYC "Clock Slip" A year or so ago, I impugned RCN's good name by accusing them of doing something to the alternate (#2 and 3 of 3, perpetually imoverished) local PBS channels here in Manhattan. Symptoms: pixellation and audio skip.
I've recently observed that bad playback equipment at the station can cause this effect (dirty heads on a DVR? low noise margin somewhere?). Symptom: skip/pixellation goes away on the next program.
A bad feed from the station (off-clock) can also cause this.
So I'm writing to apologize. Sorry RCN. |
