Be sure to pick the "CUSTOM" install, unless you want to end up with the Bing Toolbar. And check the program options after installation. (Un-tick start with Windows, no auto updates, etc...or whatever your preferences are).
Always a nice little app. -- I had a life once.....now I have a Computer and a Modem. |

The options in Snagit are really full featured and sometimes mind boggling when you look around in the program a bit. However, even though I have Snagit as well, 95% of the time all I ever use it for is a simple screenshot. And PicPick certainly does that well, and then some. I probably use it as much as Snagit. Of course, the other nice thing about PicPick is it's free. (And a much smaller program).

 | reply to hayc59 Has anyone found an installer for this program without all the crap added in.
I must say it is getting harder to not install the crap when they don't really tell you it is going to be installed with the program. I had installed this and clicked on Finish and i then had different browser opening up and things getting installed in them.
Facemoods and Bing Bar and i am not sure if there may have been more. IE was set to use Facemods search by default and the facemoods program was installed on the PC along with BingBar program. Bingbar installed a Firefox extension but is was disable because it was not the correct one for the version of Firefox i was running.
I may find some other program instead, if this is the way they keep releasing PicPick |
