[AZ] Will we see higher Up speeds?

Instead of upgrading to Ultimate tier does anyone think that the Up will ever get a increase?

Well the funny thing is, the cox area's that have done some speed increase's have been more on upload side of things. The sad part is its mostly only 1 maybe 2mbps increases. So from looking at things them area's have so far only increased preferred, and premier speeds, and its the increases have been around 2-3mbps for download speeds for them two tiers, and 1 maybe 2mbps increase on upload speed on them two tiers.

So really the news you want to hear from cox, you won't hear until there is a official announcement made by cox regarding any more speed increases. Even if any of the cox guys who help out here have any ideal on things regarding speed increases. They can't tell us, until cox marketing people decide they want to tell us. Anyways I see your in the Glendale part of AZ, and I recently seen one user on here from your area, mention he was locked onto two upstream channels. So I don't know if your bonding on upstream yet, but seeing that has to be good news for you guys regarding upstream channel bonding. Also there is no need to upgrade to Ultimate tier in your area, since your premier tier matches ultimate in upload speed at 5mbps.

I don't see why cox has to be so tight lipped on upload speeds. its not like centurylink is going to magically bust out with uploads faster than 896kbps.

Honestly I would be more happy if they had offered a 50/15 or 50/25 like some other ISP's that do have it. This is another reason we need Google Fibre, Verizon FIOS out here to add competition.

I think thats apples to oranges. while it may apply to physical products, with services its not. if cox were to announce premiere is going to 10mbps up and ult was going to 15 on dec 20, 2012 people would hold up and wait to sign up until then.
I think its more the annoyance factor when the date comes and goes without the better service not being turned on and having to deal with all the "hey where is it" phone calls.
