Re: Look at this beauty Our first stereo when I was a child was a console, a one piece unit. It was so big it took up more space than a coffee table and had coffee table legs.
Our first color TV had a 2.5" CRT screen and was the size of a computer case.

 dubgePremium join:2003-04-11 Peabody, MA | reply to squirrel83 so a little while back I am watching TV and I hear my wife arguing with my 13 year old daughter, she is saying you put it in backwards, and my daughters says well I dont know how to do it, I have never seen one of these things before in my life! I then went to see what they were talking about and it was a walkman my mother in law (who is from Greece) asked her for help getting it working.
