Printer not printed Canon i960
After the print head settles it flashes orange 3 times then the code starts over again.. I've searched on google and all I can find is people talking about the 5 flashes which mean the print head.. I've taken the head out and I still get the same amount of flashes but I can't tell what the code means.

Shut down and restart the computer that is hooked up to your Canon i960 printer.
Locate the power button on the bottom right corner of the Canon i960 printer. If the button is not lighted, press it to turn on the printer. If the light is flashing orange, see Step 11.
Read through the Easy Setup Instructions included with the printer. If you suspect that there is an issue with the printer drivers, remove the setup CD from your computer, restart the system and install the drivers again.
Lift the front of the printer housing upward and locate the ink compartment. Check to see whether all ink cartridges are installed in the correct location. Switch the ink cartridges, if necessary.
Close the printer housing and run a test print to see whether there are ink issues. Depending on the outcome, either replace empty cartridges, align the print heads or run a cleaning cycle.
Check to see whether the type of paper matches the settings on your Canon i960 printer. Change the media type in the print menu, if necessary, and change the print quality.
Turn the printer off and allow it cool down for at least 15 minutes. Excessive use can cause the print heads to overheat, especially if you are using heavy paper.
Remove any paper jams by gently pulling the stuck paper through the print rollers. Pull the paper either up from the top or down from the bottom of the feed path. Push "OK" to resume the printing process.
Clean the paper feed roller. Hold the "Resume/Cancel" button down until the power light flashes orange three times. Repeat this process twice to completely rotate and clean the paper feed roller on the Canon i960 printer.
Turn the printer off. Open the housing and check for foreign objects that may be blocking the internal components.
Determine what error message is being displayed by the orange flashing light. Two flashes indicates that the paper tray is empty. Three flashes suggests a paper jam. Four flashes means that an ink cartridge needs attention or replacement. When you see five flashes, examine the print head. Eight flashes indicates the waste ink needs emptying, while nine flashes means that your printer is not communicating properly with your computer or other media device. When the printer flashes orange 11 times, the print head alignment is not working properly.
Unplug the USB cable that connects the Canon i960 printer to your computer and plug it into another USB port. The USB cable may be attached to a port that is too slow.
Check the computer screen for error boxes that appear. See your user manual to determine how to fix these issues.
Tips & Warnings
More detailed instructions on fixing specific issues can be found in your Canon i960 printer user manual.
Bring your printer to a repair person if none of these steps fix your problems.
Do not probe the internal workings of your printer without first unplugging it.
No way.. Well I fixed it but pretty much broke the housing to fit it...
it turns out it was something with how the head gets lifted up... ugh.. I knew it was working after I heard the head swing back to the middle since I had to take the whole top part off :-/
