The questions are:
1) Have you ever parked there before?
2) Did you actually know you weren't supposed to park there at that time, but are using the situation of tree branch, SUV, etc. to beat the ticket?
These amongst other questions will be thrown at you.

Never parked there in my life.
2) I did not know I wasn't supposed to park there. I saw 6 other cars within 200 feet of my car on the same block. I never saw the signs, but after I saw the ticket, when I looked for the sign, I saw a red sign 100-150 ft away with a branch in front of it. And it's a review online, not in court. I upload 3 pictures max and my statement, and some kangaroo court person tells me the verdict. Keep in mind, these pics are zoomed in on a dslr camera, so its actually looks closer and easier to read than it is. But they cant expect people to walk 100ft every time they park a car to read signs. The other blocks I went down, have no parking signs on every light pole about 25 feet from each other. This pole was exactly like all the other poles, just missing the no parking sign

Given your evidence & statement, I would rather be in front of a live judge. Without a choice of live court vs online, you still have a good chance in my opinion. |

Today is Thursday. It says "Wednesday street cleaning". Is it only to have the street clear on Wednesdays for cleaning 10-2 or every day? Who knows.. it's one sign and not separate signs, why would they write that specific day.

That picture is to show the same pole in pic 2 that DOESNT have a parking sign, actually SHOULD have a parking sign. Every other pole has one, except the one near where I parked. The picture of NO Parking Wednesday is from 1 block over.

saying something feeble like this as an excuse that can only hurt your chance of winning a dispute. especially if you were able go back and see them after getting the ticket.
Your feelings of which poles should have signs mean little in a dispute. |

Yea, I could only see the sign after I walked up pretty close to it, enough to get the branch out of the sign's way. What's funny is that the parking enforcement officer, when talking to him, didn't emphasize the signs posted. He emphasized on the fact that a majority of the cars were parked on the other side of the street, which were legally parked. So if I listen to his advice, I should look and park where a majority of the cars are parked.

You could see part of the sign when you pulled into the space and at that time you should have walked up to it and read it, then left when it said you can't park there!
You as the driver have to know what all signs say!

Never even noticed a sign was there, until after I got the ticket and talked with the officer.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse? It sort of is, especially when there are well over 40,000 laws in the US and more are passed every year. You can't expect a person to know every law.
