How long did it take you to get your speed profile updated? I got connected last night, but my speed profile is still showing at 8/1, while I subscribed to the 15/1.5 service. |

Did you inform Ebox of the situation with the wrong profile? You should have been 15/1.5 from the second your modem was online |

I sent a PM to eboxnat almost immediately after my service became active cause I had the same issue (8/1 instead of 30/2). She took care of it and the profile was updated in about 48 hours. |

Had my appointment this morning at 11:30 am. The tech came and all he did was verify that the signal was good. Nothing else. He didn't enter the mac address of the new modem into any database, didn't even stay to see if the new modem would sync up. After about 15 to 20 minutes of having the new modem plugged in, I was up and running with the new service at the correct profile. |

I wasn't home when the guy did the install but he didn't take down my Mac address of the modem. Something tells me it's not going to work any time soon....... |

Ebox would have sent your mac address to Videotron, so it should probably work. |

Yah it did. My mistake. Although I noticed higher ping times vs my dsl which is strange... I thought I'd never say that as diskace knows how lousy my pings used to be and they were fixed somehow |
