[Internet] Open Ports on Ubee in Bridge Mode

I just ran a port scan against the outside IP of my Ubee, which is running in bridge mode, (BHN Lightning in Central Florida) and found the following open;

Port Scan has started…

Port Scanning host: 97.000.000.000 [clearly not my real IP ]

Open TCP Port: 23 telnet
Open TCP Port: 53 domain
Open TCP Port: 1723 pptp
Open TCP Port: 39119
Port Scan has completed…

Curious if anyone knows, I assume the expert does, why those are all open. I assume 23 and 1723 are for BHN to be able to access the router, but 39119 makes little sense to me, and 53 I assumed was when running a DNS server.

Ask your router MFR why Vito. Has nothing to do with us once your modem is bridged.

Thanks for the update. I did not think that the router settings would still make it all the way out in bridged mode. I can pin those down my self in the router.

Much appreciated!

Once you bridge the ubee is nothing more than.a modem and passes through everything to your router.
