[Beginner] Macs & Facebook Flash ....

Do Facebook Flash apps, like the games, work on Macs (laptops & other)?

Forgive me if it is a stupid question....never owned a Mac, just iPods and iPhone, but knew Apple didn't support Flash, but not sure if it ran "within" Safari's Facebook.

Thank you.

Yes to Mac, no to iDevices.
However, some apps are available as a stand alone game, such as Scrabble for Facebook and work

Flash has always existed for OS X. Adobe doesn't maintain it very well though.

There is no flash on iOS devices.

Better than they do on Linux!

Thanks all. This is good to know because if I can't run my "Gourmet Ranch" app on a Mac laptop ....this is an issue, lol I'm addicted to that Facebook app, and it uses Flash

If you are playing that app, make me your neighbor, dadams007.

See ya on the Ranch cooking!

It does both (loads and uses 98208% CPU), but doesn't run awfully.

I've noticed some apps, like Farmville, seem to run better with Firefox than they do with Safari.

Also, Facebook seems to have upgraded their Flash a couple of months ago and I get an "upgrade your Flash" whenever I try to view an embedded movie, even though I can view them on YouTube. Oddly enough, I don't have a problem viewing most Facebook embedded movies on my iPad which has no Flash.
