[speed/latency] Daily Bandwith Report on Fiber Connection Fairpo
I am going to post a daily post till either a: Fairpoint does something to fix their issue or b: Another carrier with some real money steps up to the plate and fixes this operation.
Tonight around 4:50pm speed reduced, speedtest.net test shows 190ms ping test and 3.5 down and 1.4 up. My rated connection I am paying for is a 30/15 connection on fiber.
It is currently 6:30pm and speeds are down 95%. Ping test is 382ms download speed is 1.8 upload speed is 7.3
Please visit the link that recommened posting a complaint with Fairpoint Communications and the PUC. PUC is building out and staying ahead of their mandate to build up their broadband service in NH, however the PUC didn't place a condition to increase bandwidth on the backhaul during this build-out.
PUC has been advised of this fact after reading the lenghtly document and agreement prior to the sale to Fairpoint. If enough complaints come in then PUC will have to act!
I am paying for high speed not dialup. I can get better speeds with a sat dish.
