[Answered][DSL] 25/7 - looking for an upload reviewHi,
I am currently on the 6/0.8, but it has terrible upload speed.
I know that in theory, 7 mbits upload is much faster than most plans, but do people who have the 25/7 really get 7 mbits upload? |

Re: [DSL] 25/7 - looking for an upload review99.99% of the time. Z |

Same as with download speed you have to keep in mind the rest of the path that the data will be traveling. I've found the 25/7 to be quite accurate but that a lot of sites end up being the limiting factor and so you may end up with substantially lower throughput as a result. In situations where I have a reliable data path I get good results that run true to the 25/7 expectations. |

As others have said, yes - 25/7 and you get 25/7 99% of the time. In the evenings -occasionally- the 25 can slow a touch (take maybe 20) depending on the day / what site / etc but the 7Mbps uploads (I actually get around 7.4) is pretty consistent. |

Perfect, I want to stream movies from my home computer to my laptop while I'm at work.
Is it also reliable in Quebec? (I'm in montreal). I know it should be, but I want to be really sure. |

As reliable as it is anywhere else... Helps to be in an MDU with the DSLAM in the basement. |

As long as you're not on a CO with a weird problem that causes your connection to drop for 20 minutes per day, you do get the full 7mbit up, yes. |
