Re: WARNING: Acanac promises a static IP, and lies!

Then if you would like this to be settled you need to send this to feedback@acanac.com. That is where the owners read . Posting it here is fine and to "let others know' as you say but it will nor solve your problem as i can't change the way the company sets things up. Feedback will get their attention faster.

Hey instead of BS'ing on this forum why don't you respond positively? You've demonstrated that you can't do much about the situation but that doesn't mean you need to BS about emailing one of your lovely *sarcasm* departments. You KNOW that emailing acanac with this issue won't do shit. You mind as well admit that as a representative of Acanac you openly express that the service that's being provided was misleading and the IP addresses assigned were static though it was being shared with other users connected to the VPN as well and not *truly* dedicated as it's been marketed. (deceptively)

Your excuses and explanations are futile.

Wilson It is not BS as you call it. I do not work in tec support and can not solve problems for that department. I do NOT know how they assign their static IPS. Instead of being so rude why don't you read correctly? I have stated many times on this forum that I do not work in tec department, am not a tec and can't solve problems that involve anything technical here. That is why we have the phone number for you to call tec support or email support@acanac.com. IF the customers are having problems that can not be solved through sales or tec and they want help that is the place to send feedback.

Re: WARNING: Acanac promises a static IP, and lies!

Acanac claims that they're "working on" getting their customers genuine static IPs through their VPNs. (They actually volunteered this information to me. I didn't have to solicit it or e-mail feedback@acanac like you suggest.)

It's also a bit concerning to hear a suggestion that I should send an e-mail about the issue because posting here will "not solve your problem". Are you implying that this fraud is not a subject worthy of being discussed in a public forum?

I think discussing this kind of sleazy behavior is exactly why DSL Reports exists.

If you want to speak on behalf of Acanac, I suggest you reply with an apology. Perhaps some assurance that this is rank negligence by your advertising department, and not the malevolent deception that it appears to be.

-- I never said or thought. I just said the forum is not the place to have it changed.

-- I suggested you send the email because I can not change how the support team runs things.

--if that is what they are doing or you think they are doing discuss it with the owners. I wish I could tell you I can change it for you but I can't.
--I DO speak on behalf of Acanac and they are the ones that sign my paycheck and give me orders. I told you here what I have been told. If the information was not correct than you have to take that up with them. I do not owe you an apology for telling you something that I was told was the truth. If this is how you feel about what they told you why post it here except for letting others know, which I see your point BUT it will not solve the issue here. It has to be dealt with in that department.
