Actually you then follow the flow of traffic!
If no other traffic is around then you need to use (which most don't have) common sense!
Just about every state says,
25 MPH in resudental areas
35 MPH in Business areas
45 MPH on open road
(depending on your state) 55-70 MPH on highways!
And if you don't know these simple rules of thumb you should not be driving!
