Seems I am bonding on upstream in West Warwick RI. Anyone else?

that is some pretty impressive power boost speeds on your upload
since you have bonding upstream channels can not wait till cox deploys this

any reason why you don't have an 8th channel on 861MHz?

No particular reason. I assume they open them as needed. About 8 months ago or so there was only 4. That was before the power-boost cap though, but that same cap fixed my QoS issues I think.

PS. I know my Rx is a bit low, its a equal loss 3way of the drop, and I don't want to amp. Still well within D3 specs though and real life use is great.

Well Ultimate customers in RI shouldn't have a problem keeping a steady 8mbps of upload speed, with them three upstream channels. Nice to see more cox area's launching upstream bonding, so its only a matter of time before more cox markets start bonding on upstream.

Lucky! That's an impressive upload capability! With the issues they are having with the upper 800 MHz frequencies out here I don't see this happening any time soon in my area. It would definitely be nice though!

the carriers in the 800MHz range will be downstream carriers...issues there will affect download performance

the upstream carriers will be somewhere in the 20-40Mhz range

Behaves like 2 channel DS bonding
Correct. I should have clarified that my eye caught the 7 downstream channels with beautiful signal levels and SNR. It's a far cry from what we are limping along with here! The SNR is way below spec in the upper downstream channel which is filled with uncorrectable errors. Cox will need to address that issue before they attempt such an upgrade in my area. At any rate, I don't want to pollute the thread and the upgrade in RI looks great!

Don't cry. When I had 4 bonded around 855 as well I had around 36 dB SNR with +1 to +2 power level or so. Now that they my modem is bonding 687 to 705 channels. It's still the same. And the cable modem is on a 2 way splitter only.

That 873mhz channels SNR is out of spec at 28. that should be at least 35.

Yup. Cox is still putting stuff back together here as a result of the freak storm that hit us last October. Before that I had 38's across all 3 downstream channels. It's a slow process, but since the end of January Cox has gotten the phone, internet, and TV back to the point where it stays connected 24 hours a day and performs well. In spite of the limping upper bonded channel I get 32/8 reliably with very low pings. I have to say that Cox has put a lot of effort into repairing all the damage to the infrastructure.
