[CritEditY] Off-Camera Flash
It's been a while since I've posted, but I just upped my photography a notch. I got a cable and a radio remote unit to experiment with off-camera flash!
I took this the other day:
55mm 1/60th F5.6
Anyone else do this? Feel free to share tips and experience... I've never done this before...

I do this quite often and have 4 Vivitar 285HV's and two Alien Bee 800's and really enjoy just messing around with the light. Don't be afraid to make some flags and reflectors to further modify the light. These can be made from simple material like paper. You can even defuse the flash with tracing paper to make the light softer but be careful not to set the paper on fire.
