| Actually, the OP used the proper procedure for uploading the file, the problem was the type of file being uploaded (and there are no instructions in that FAQ telling the poster that an MS Word 2007 document is not a good choice for posting an inline screen shot).
I have noticed more and more posters trying to post screen shots lately as MS Word 2007 documents instead of using a normal browser compatible graphic image file. Must be some new plot by Microsoft to take over the internet. -- We can never have enough of nature. what do you think is the problem?
the first and 2nd pics is telling me something too...but I'd wait for the whole NID box and whole wall plate to confirm my suspicion. |

Is this better? |
|
 | way better...
is the blue/white pair active? you're using the orange/white pair for phone and dsl?
one more pic please of the wall plate where you connect your modem...we wanna see the inside guts with how it's connected to the wall plate. |

 | reply to goose1000
Inside wall mount...let me know if you need anything else. Thanks! |

 | said by goose1000:Inside wall mount...let me know if you need anything else. Thanks! and you connected your modem directly into that? |
|
 | reply to medbuyer I honestly don`t know.. I don`t know anything about this wiring stuff. How can I tell. |

 | reply to medbuyer Modem is going through a Split filter then to this jack. |

2 edits | said by goose1000:Modem is going through a Split filter then to this jack. i don't see any split filter...where is it?
is the blue / white pair inside the NID active or did they tell you it's active?
if you only have 1 pair of wires going inside your house from your NID [orange / white pair] then it's not completely setup as a homerun for your dsl.
typically you should have 1 pair for voice and 1 pair for data. the data pair being filtered which goes inside your house and where you connect your modem directly.
your pictures show you are using your voice line UNFILTERED where you connect your dsl modem.
look at this...see

see that orange / white pair? that's my dsl signal pair, coming from that filter and goes into this junction box I have.
see the small square light brown junction box? that's where my orange / white pair goes and that's where my old 3347 modem is connected directly. the filtering of the dsl signal is done in my NID box.

 | Here is the splitter that runs into the jack.. as far blue/wht pair being active no one has said anything about them being active or not. |

|
 | So now what? |
|
 | reply to goose1000 So where can static be coming from? Or is it the way it`s wired that is causing the issue? |
|
 | reply to medbuyer I got a tech coming out here shortly. Is there anything I need to ask him to check? He`s coming out to try and check for static on my line. |
