 | wan ip vs. wan gateway ip In my westell 7500 unit I have a wan ip and a wan gateway ip. What is the difference? I am trying to setup a camera to view from the internet and I am not sure which wan ip I need to use.

In the picture below the ip address is the wan ip for the modem

 | I have never seen a WAN gateway ip in a router and would like to know what the difference is from the WAN gateway ip and WAN ip. The attached image is from the westell 7500, which is a modem as well as a router, so I am not sure what you mean by "WAN IP in the router is". |

Any device you connect to a router uses the routers ip address for the default gateway, the router also has a default gateway even if it is not displayed |
