[ONT] Adding an extension to indoor ONT

There are four RJ-11 ports on the front of the device. One is connected to the house's terminal block connecting the house wiring. Is adding extension wiring done by splicing or can you utilize one of the available jacks?

Thanks in advance

I am fairly certain you have to splice the existing wiring to create an extension.

The other empty jacks are to provide service for additional phone lines.
