| ATT Warned Me.......... When I was moving, I called AT&T to cancel my service. The operator told me I had 30 days to return the modem to the closest service center. (the other side of town) She also told me to copy down the model, and serial number. "When you return it, make sure to get a signed receipt."
Wouldn't you know it 10 days after I returned it, a bill for $300. (They were cheaper back then) I had to fax a copy of the information plus the signed receipt. They took the charge off in the end. |
