OS X Lion File Sharing StructureWhat would be the best way to set file sharing permissions on a OS X Lion Server.
For example.
Main Document Share>
Main Document Share> Directory 1
Main Document Share> Directory 2
How would you set "Main Document Share>" so people can't delete or modify that main folder, but they can modify the subdirectories.
I have a network share where "Main Document Share" is shared with a group so they can connect and see all the sub directories such as Company Documents, Music, Photos, etc... that they need to be able to modify the documents inside those folders. But I don't want someone to "accidentally" be able to delete a whole directory or add folders to the main directory.
Would I do this in GetInfo on the server? |
