<description><![CDATA[KrK posted : They tried to just muscle it through by paying contributions, a strategy that has worked for telecom giants for years.<br><br>... there's a catch though.... they were up against OTHER telecom giants and other big interests this time.<br><br>Simply put:   They were up against other money set against them.   Washington at it's finest.   I think Lightsquared was particularly arrogant about it as well,  they kept making clear statements, thinly disguised that if things go their way they'll pay.
