Re: Regulations and you know this how? Should we look at the taxes and fees that are on a landline telephone? You can get a barebones dial tone for ~$15 in most areas. Add taxes and fees to that line and its easily $35.
My grandmother has ATT and had them back when they went from ATT to Ohio Bell- she has 100minutes of LD a month, and call waiting, unlimited local calls- her phone bill is $60 AFTER taxes and fees. BEFORE taxes and fees (that everyone wants due to regulation) the phone bill is only about $40. you tell me what good regulation does for her? |
