Is april 6th, after waiting for about 4 or 5 months now.

Mine was finally fixed, so there's still hope lol. Hopefully yours doesn't get pushed back again.

I'm going on over 2 years for any type of permanent fix...

The latest short term bandaid that won't work is 8 weeks out, or so I am told.

The last word I got from my son who had been online with tech support that our fix had been deescalated to low priority It has been since Oct. 2010 they kept telling us it would be about a month every time the Eta of repair approached it would be moved out to the next month then the next then the next, well it seems that there will be no fix anytime in the near future. So life goes on.

I started in Oct. for this round (I've been doing this for YEARS) and was told Dec 25 for a fix. It wasn't so I called back in early Jan. and was told April 30. Now they say June. I feel July is the next one...

Mine was September 9th 2011. Was told in August 2011 that all upgrades were "on schedule". When in reality, nothing was fixed and nothing is still planned to be fixed.

Its been 3-4 months here, been getting about 10-20 percent of what we pay for. Techs came and gone and said no problem on our end. Now no response from windstream on what the problem is.

They say I've been given the wrong information now, the same person who gave me the info told me so haha.

So, I guess it'll be another month now.
Then another month,then the next, and so on.

Of course, i don't expect it to be fixed by this time.

April 6th was the date set before.

I don't have any issue's in my area,but i do have Windstream as my ISP.What i can tell you folks is once they get there lines upgraded,they will maintain them.They bought a company a very poor company out that didn't take care of there lines/customers.So now i believe that they left a mess for Windstream to clean up.Once there lines are in great working order i can personally Vouch for Windstream.I have almost near perfect service,and all Windrteam employees that work in my area (London,KY) work hard to provide!
I am in no way affiliated with Windstream..just a happy customer.
The only thing i can really argue is there upload speed needs to be worked on!

We have had windstream for 4 or 5 years or longer, this is windstream's problem.

We have always had problems every now and then but this...

2 years and very few months of usable service here. Had a ticket for new equipment due in March of this year but now that is on indefinite hold.

The high priority areas around here was fixed a while back, my connection's getting worse.

Same here jin, just got a new update to July 2013 when my issue will be looked at by engineers. That will make it 43 months to that point of poor connection and service.

Sadly no other ISP other than Hughs net for me, Although been told by a few of the workers installing lines for Comcast they plan to be out in my area hopefully by the end of the year.

My fix date is 8/30/2012. Been lagging during peak hours since Christmas.

They've added an additional "months" to the fix time in my area.

This is on top of the 8 weeks I was told back in March, then the "a few more weeks" when those 8 weeks ended.

Ongoing intermittent issues for 2+ years, this most recent bout approaching 6 months

Atleast you still being told you have a repair. They gave me a ticket for mine supposed to be completed by march 2012 never was started or completed. Now they say the engineers are currently planning on looking at the issues at the end of the year, after 3 years of connection issues already. When I ask about the ticket Windstream plays dumb as if there was never that ticket or just clam up and don't respond at all.

When I first posted, it was in early May (I believe). My estimated time was December 31, 2012.

I just want to make sure that it is understood that the agents you are speaking to are passing along the information they are given, they are not making up random due dates. It does not make your situations any less frustrating I understand, but the additional irritation is not intentional I promise you. Many things have to be taken into account when planning a repair or upgrade, unfortunately no matter how many things you take into account it will always be the 1 small thing you don't plan for that will set you behind. The work is ongoing in most cases, and will not be stopped until completion. We have not forgot about any of you, and as much as it may seem like it we are not brushing anything off.

It's just that I've never seen a repair take so long.
Also I've talked to reps that have told me that basically there's nothing wrong with my connection and that there was nothing posted on my problem, and that got to me.

Then talk to another and I get a new ETR.

I can honestly see how that would be beyond frustrating. As I am not personally familiar with your situation I do not want to throw anything out there. I am out of the office till Monday, I think I know which agent you are working with, so I will touch base with her then and see if we can dig up some more info . . .at least make some more noise.
