| [CATV] Special Thanks...What a deal I got an envelope from Cox today, a "special thanks" just for me. They are offering Advanced TV for $5 a month for 12 months, if I just sign up.
The only catch? The offer expired 2/29, and I received it on 3/3. From the post mark it wasn't even mailed until 3/1.
I've seen a lot of stupid things from companies marketing departments, but this one takes the cake. -- Ron Paul 2012 »www.ronpaul2012.com Beyond AM. Beyond FM. (((XM)))

 | reply to BillRoland Had a contract expire with Cox recently.
Prior to it expiring, they let me know via snailmail I could go to a special URL to Keep my Rate on TV.
Kicker was, The URL never worked.
Contract expires and i get another mailing. I can still lock in my rate by going to that Same special URL. (course Cox saw fit to raise my rates the day the contract expired.) URL never worked.
Good thing I had planned on Cutting that cord. |
