Re: [Rant/Rave] Smashburger / Five Guys I don't see what all the fuss over Five Guys is. They are good, but the buns aren't anything special and neither is the flavor, they are just burgers. They don't even flame broil them IIRC.
We have a local outfit that makes better that is not a chain, I can't eat cheeseburgers any longer because I now know that I am severely lactose intolerant. What I like about the place here is I can get fried shrooms, fried peppers, fried onions, spicy mustard, blue cheese (Ok, not that, but they have it) and so on. You order the burger like you order a sub sandwich, the way you want.
