I know its not looking too special this year but that is a cool commercial! I just heard a commercial for tickets so I am hoping to get to a few games again this year. Hopefully better than one of the ones I went to last year when it was wind chill around 20....in May. And it was 66 today in March! -- The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. CPL:IA;ASEL/AMEL. CFI:ASE/AME; IA
$12 for terrace reserved for an early April night game is definitely not a misprint. Upper deck reserved outfield is $8 for those same nights. They're not seats I'd want. -- If everything seems to be going well, you've obviously overlooked something.
Terrace Reserve depends on the location. TR in a low row behind the backstop offers better views then a lot of box seats. Some box seats have a pitch so low you cannot see over the heads in front of you, and are too low to see the whole field. Some TR gives the best view of just enough height to see but not too far back.
We're on the express elevator to hell and we're going down! lol
This may be good! Maybe Hell will Freeze over and the Cubbies can finally win the big one. -- You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'My God, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'
We have a .5% chance of making the play offs according to ESPN!
I have a feeling this will be one of the shortest Cubs season thread ever. Anyone ready to move onto hot stove talk yet? -- The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. CPL:IA;ASEL/AMEL. CFI:ASE/AME; IA
I say Garza is gone maybe DeJesus, they might be able to pawn Soriano if they eat 80% or better of his contract. It is possible LeHair might be gone 29yo with Rizzo burning it up in AAA, if Soriano and DeJesus go then LeHair stays to play one of the corner OF spots but he is not a long term guy, too old and league has figured him out already. Marmol & Soto might go also.
What is needed? 1B and 3B Power = Rizzo & ??? RF Avg and speed = ??? LF HR Power =??? C = Clevenger & Castillo in that order. RP = 2 quality middlemen and quality closer. Closer won't be found this year, too many injured around league and will demand too much money on market. SP = It would make sense to keep Garza but they will trade him for a couple good prospects and a already good player. Need two good starters maybe 1 stud.
Need to be gone= Stewart, Baker, Hill, Soto. Should keep= Johnson good PH and can play all 3 outfield spots. Campana great speed everyday CF ??? if they bat him leadoff yes. -- In need of a Vegas vacation.
Also Happy memorial day everyone. Special thanks to those who have or are serving in our military! -- The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. CPL:IA;ASEL/AMEL. CFI:ASE/AME; IA
What a train wreck this season has been... like so many before. I almost don't even feel like hot stove talk yet, although the cool weather has helped. -- The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. CPL:IA;ASEL/AMEL. CFI:ASE/AME; IA
