Re: [DSL] Cellpipe random reboots / loss of sync (Check logs ple Yeah I sympathize. It was a really nice feeling setting up the Zyxel. All the options were there! |

We aren't Bell sheep. I want to be able to troubleshoot.
I'm thinking of maybe biting the bullet on 25/7 though, and trying that zyxel ikanos version. -- GO LEAFS GO! |

 | Cellpipes run some kind of hybrid bridge and router mode, it works in any configuration |

 | reply to HiVolt I noticed today that the CellPipe modem does display line stats. There is a '+' button at the end of the VDSL status line. It's a toggle. Press once to show the stats, and again to hide them. |

 | It depends on the firmware. Some versions have the little white plus, some don't.
ETA for my second modem is the 8th apparently. If that holds true that's not too bad. About a week. |

BTW TSI, I just lost an hour of work due to a dropped connection from a spontaneous modem reboot. |

Bell did not issue me a credit to cover the cost of a working modem, in fact they tried to charge $99 more to try a Sagemcom. I would be shocked if TSI started credits when Bell is in the same boat taking people's money and not doing shit to accommodate customers that PERSISTENTLY report intermittent service.
That's why I'm not a customer anymore, and never will be as long as I live near them. Fuck Bell. |
