Had NextBox 2.0 whole home installed a few days ago, everything seems to function ok except one thing. The "search" function in the guide always throws up an error every time I use it, basically it doesn't work at all and never has. Has anyone else had this issue? if so how was it resolved?
Picked up my box on Monday night, and had the same issue yesterday once the service initialized. Called Rogers and they confirmed that many customers are experiencing the same. Currently, they have a technician working on the line but I haven't heard anything yet.
I was told by a technition that the search function can take up to 72 hours (in some cases) before it starts to work. There seems to be some truth in this because after about 60 hours mine has begun to function normally.
