| [DVR] DVR frame by frame and pausing My issues are with the new 1.9 firmware and the DVR controls. I have a multiroom moto 6416.
Before the update I could rewind live action. Specifically sports programs. I could rewind something that happened and then advance frame by frame, pause (right where I wanted to) and reverse frame by frame and then advance again frame by frame.
This was amazing for studying pitching and batting, football plays, kicks and events in soccer, etc.
With the 1.9 update the functionality of that has all but disappeared.
Now I rewind the action and can frame by frame but when I hit pause it seems to randomly choose a point farther along the timeline than I want. Then when you change frame by frame direction it picks up somewhere randomly on the timeline and goes in that direction.
For example, when viewing a batters swing, you can choose a point before the swing and frame by frame advance, then you hit pause at contact with the ball and instead it leaps to the batters through swing or further along.
It might seem like a small thing but wow it was an awesome tool for studying sports movements. Now it's useless. |
