At least T-Mobile constantly invests into their network and is pushing 42Mbps HSPA + as opposed to AT&T, their next step is LTE, personally if I were them I'd just keep pushing out faster HSPA + until LTE Advanced came out instead of bringing out LTE and then LTE-A.

 | LOL! T-Mobile investing in a network. Is that why all their customers are leaving (and continue to)? Why would you upgrade to a redundant technology, when LTE/A v/10-12 are compatible with the HSPA+ networks completely? The mass market is not going to see a striking difference between HSPA+ and LTE/A v10-12 when using the service because the sunsetting of GSM will allow dual clone HSPA+ as the networks increase their spectrum in this area. It would make zero sense to continue HSPA+ upgrades both financially, and competitively. |

No, it's because T-Mobile tried to sell themselves to the Death Star which most people fled because they hated AT&T's crappy service among other things, and now T-Mobile has to convince these old customers, or at least try and convince them they are here to stay.
