I wouldn't have a problem, but '4G' typically refers to HSPA+ (even by AT&T's own standards), and the iPhone 4S is 'only' HSPA at 14.4 Mbps.

The RTR8605 chip is an HSPA+ chip.

It's not a Category 14 chip, its a Cat. 10 HSDPA chip which means no 64QAM so its limited at 14.4mbit/s including overhead.
