| [General] How would I go about getting fiber? Right now I have some super slow DSL and have been looking around for ways to get faster internet. Anyways I was wondering how I could get fiber. I live in a somewhat rural area about a half mile from a big neighborhood. I believe there is a fiber line running along the street next to me, about 300' from my house. There's a cell tower running off the cable and an AT&T rep said there were fiber cables put in a while ago (2-3 years maybe?). Do you think there is a way for me to get fiber? |

| If it really is ATT fiber, you could maybe get it. Are you preapred to spend ~$900+ per month to do so to get only around 10mb/10mb though? |

It's possible; but you're talking 10's, if not 100's of thousands in construction and equipment costs, as well as monthly charges in the $1000 and up range; as well as a 3-5 year contract... |
