[FiOS] Downstream Speed Issue (Conversion)

From a couple of days ago, my downstream speed has been around 15Mb while the upstream speed is unaffected. So I chatted live with a tech, and she suspects some kind of a problem with the hub.

I'm provisioned for 25/25.

Anybody in my area (97006) having similar issues?

Yes, I checked my router this time around.

Re: [FiOS] Downstream Speed Issue

Getting 25mbs down on a wired connection and 20mbs down on a wireless... so no issues out this way.

Thanks.

I've tried connecting my computer directly to the ONT via CAT5, but the problem persists. So, it's not my internal network. This started right after their conversion which is very suspicious.

A tech is scheduled to come out on Tuesday.

It's a profile problem. When they changed their gateway equipment, they copied the wrong profile. They had to recreate it.

It's fixed now.
