| Alternatives to Owen Corning Basement Walls? Hey folks,
I've got a field stone basement that I'd love to finish off, but there is some humidity issues making normal dry wall impossible. Plus I need to be able to access the stone for repointing every 10-20 years.
Owens Corning has basement walls that are "breathable" so mold isn't an issue and they pop off so you can access the original walls as needed. Unfortunately, they will only install it themselves (through franchises), and they want tens of thousands to do so.
Does anyone know of a similar wall product that I, as a consumer, can purchase so that I can install it myself?
