David posted : for a while and when I was going between cell phone contracts I would buy tmobile pins all the time on ebay. In an auction expect to get as least 95 to 99% of your money back. You won't get the full $25 and you won't get over $25 in most cases but which would you rather have a card you can't use for $25 or as least 95% of your money back?

most ebay auctions I saw when I was bidding on those came right in that the $24.99 mark.
--
If you have a topic in the direct forum please reply to it or a post of mine, I get a notification when you do this.
Koetting Ford, Granite City, illinois...
BlitzenZeus posted : You paid the store $25, not T-Mobile, remember the stores make money too, and if they gave you $25 in actual cash for this then they would have lost money.

I want you to think about this, they probably got paid around $15 for it, somebody made the physical card too at a price, then shipped them, and then the store made money on the sale. If T-Mobile gave you the $25 they would be down around $10. It doesn't balance out. Just like when you buy a new car it's worth less in resell than when you drove it off the lot, and it's possible to buy them for less than their value in credits. If somebody kept doing this in a cycle it would be free money to them.

You cannot get a refund for your T-Mobile airtime credits either.

Get somebody local to buy it, and sell it for for less than it's value. Get the cash in your hand first, let them apply the code, and when it clears the cash is yours.

Unless there is a sale on airtime cards, I just buy it directly from T-Mobile anyway.
--
I distrust those people who know so well what god wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires- Susan B.
OmagicQ posted : I have a T-Mobile $25 airtime refill pin that I can't use and can't get a refund. I am sure T-mobile can verify the pin is unused and cancel it and issue a refund but they are not willing to do so. The store it was purchased from won't issue a refund either. They claim that the card specifically states that airtime pins are not refundable, and its true it says that.. in tiny print you almost need a magnifying glass to be able to read.

There should be some kind of consumer law about this. NO company should be able to sell an non-refundable product. I don't know what I can do with it beside give T-mobile more of my money by purchasing a compatible phone to use the airtime. I could try selling it on ebay but who would buy an airtime pin from an unknown seller? I wouldn't.
--
Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin naal ok zin los vahriin wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal!
Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal!
