I was looking at this a while back for a few linksys routers. It seems that the wireless performance really takes a hit when used for dd-wrt.
So with that in mind I set out to build my own x86 ddwrt system. I figure I can add wireless n points and have them pull from the wired network at locations I choose. No muss, no fuss and went that route.
if you can follow step-by-step instructions and are careful and good with installing a NIC, you can have your own for not much greater than what you would have paid for the e3200. My rig total was $34 as I had a lot of spare parts left over. |
