Ultra TV Wireless Gateway/USB

Is it possible to connect a external harddrive via the wireless gateway. I have all my externals now connected to my Linksys E3200 wireless router via USB so that the are available on any computer via the network. This is essential to me.

Thanks.

No.

You can connect them to a computer on the network and share it as a mapped network drive.

Thus requiring that computer to be on for access to the files.

Well, I keep one PC on 24/7 anyway, but I realize that this may not be the case for others. Also, in the other thread, I mentioned that it is unlikely that his PC will share with his other devices that aren't PCs.

For what its worth I purchased an iConnect from iOmega that allows me to connect 4 usb devices (drives, printers) and it then connects to the network either wired or wireless. Without too much trouble you can then set it up to access your files from anywhere. I am using it connected to a WOW Ultra Gateway.
