Telus → [BC] Charged for reconnection of telephone

Today I got my bill from Telus and I was shocked to see that they had charged me for the reconnection of Telus phone services. I did not sign up for Telus phone services nor have I ever used them. What do I do?

Sorry, you got your bill for an Internet only line, and there were charges for reconnection? Like a move?

Or am I understanding right?

And hope and pray for the best! Hopefully you'll have better luck getting your money back than my roommate did a few years ago.

After approx 1 month and over 10 calls to billing, he gave up trying to get credited for the erroneous charge and cancelled all his Telus services.

Surprisingly, the CSRs didn't even seem to care about his threats to switch providers, and didn't argue at all when he told them to cancel all services!

Is this a rare occurrence or is it often this difficult to get money back from Telus?

I've never had an issue with getting credited, be it home phone or cellular.
