Estimated loop length: 14480 feet (bridge tap) Yes, if your loop length were actually 14480 feet, it would be rather long for a 3 mbps connection (and the "bridge tap" would also seem to be a bit foreboding. However, it is not unusual for an inexpensive (inexpensive compared to real DSL test equipment) DSL modem to report both of those things incorrectly.
FWIW, I think you are looking in the wrong place again. Your problem is the noise on your telco line, it does not really appear to be a "DSL" problem (although a bridge tap ...if there is one... could be a potential entry point for noise). -- We can never have enough of nature. We need to witness our own limits transgressed, and some life pasturing freely where we never wander. |

 | Yea...I was just snooping around in the stats..I have not given up on the telco line yet. I got someone higher up than the local supervisor taking a look at it. Hopefully should hear something Monday or Tuesday. |

Yes I think that figure is too high for the sync rate you have but the attndr figure contradicts that
I've found that the estimated loop length figures given by the motorola modems are close to the loop length figures given by att techs who have access to that type of info |

 | Well I was on 1.5 before and had same disconnect issues as I am having now..I thought it would have been more stable connection but it did not matter by dropping speed. |
