He is definitely an improvement, I just hope our receivers can compliment Flynn's talent. |

Is he also better than Charlie Whitehurst? Ooops, he's no longer a Seahawk. quote: So to summarize the deal:
Seattle received two years and three four regular-season starts from Charlie Whitehurst, which produced three touchdown passes, four interceptions and a Week 17 victory in 2010 over the Rams to earn the Seahawks' a playoff berth. Seattle also got Golden Tate.
San Diego received the second-round pick that helped it vault from No. 28 to No. 12 overall in the 2010 draft, choosing their starting running back, and a third-round choice to use on a cornerback for a third-string quarterback who never attempted a regular-season pass in his four years on the team.
Whitehurst got: $8 million from Seattle, and a return trip to San Diego.

We won't know if he's really an improvement until we see how he works with OUR existing offence (though the bar isn't very high), or if he's worth until we see who needs to be replaced to fit his game. (you can coach anyone to do better, but trying change their natural style usually is a expensive losing battle)
We did better by grabbing him quickly, so who wants THE TEBOW STORY!!!! ? |

Not counting Peyton and the upcoming 1 and 2 picks, I think he may have been the next best QB up for grabs, so in that respect the Seahawks did reasonably well. |
