Ottawa, ON | [DSL] Thinking about the 25/7 DSL I got multiple static IPs on 6M DSL right now, modem is in bridged mode (has to be because of multiple IPs), Linux box on the other end doing pppoe. I should be able to continue with the exact same setup with 25/7, except they'll give me a new modem, right? I'm keeping the exact same filters I hope. There's a nasty splice job on the telephone cable running to the modem so I don't know what they're going to say about that (it works fine for 6M).
I'm really weary of having Bell over. Every time they show up, things get so screwed up it takes up to a month to fix. |
