More info: quote: README: ... # Getting started
### Online demo
For an online demo, visit:
+ h ttp://mozilla.github.com/pdf.js/web/viewer.html
This demo provides an interactive interface for displaying and browsing PDFs using the pdf.js API.
### Extension
A Firefox extension is availble in two places:
+ Stable Version: h ttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/pdfjs + Development Version: h ttp://mozilla.github.com/pdf.js/extensions/firefox/pdf.js.xpi
The development extension should be quite stable but still might break from time to time. Also, note that the development extension is updated on every merge and by default Firefox will auto-update extensions on a daily basis (you can change this through the `extensions.update.interval` option in `about:config`). ...

Re: Firefox's native PDF Viewer Updated I wonder if this will ever work on virtual machines? If ever, not on the version of VMWare Workstation I have. Even the demo doesn't work very well. The words are displayed too close together so no matter what kind of enlargement I tried I still had a terrible time trying to read it. Then I tried AV-Comparatives and that was a disaster.
I don't think this would work even if I upgrade my Fx4 on my host machine to Fx10 that I have on this virtual machine because Mozilla blacklisted my video card awhile back even though before they created that blacklist, my video card was doing great at their test site and scoring really well. Then they blacklisted my card I could no longer do the test.
So, I suppose on Fx (different story on Opera) I will have to wait to use this Mozilla PDF reader when I get a new computer (maybe very soon...certainly no later than when Dell gets Ivy Bridge processors).
I just had a problem with Fx10 Enterprise when I was trying to upload the attachment. I accidentally clicked on the wrong file and I could not delete it before uploading. I would highlight it and hit "delete" on the keyboard and it would try to upload and would not delete. I had to copy my post and do everything over again. I hope that was just a one time fluke. -- When governments fear people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. Thomas Jefferson |

Re: Firefox's native PDF Viewer Updated Thanks. Tried the stable version on my production version of Firefox and was disappointed. It took a long time to load a large article before it would display the opening page. And the text was very poorly rendered, even at 100%. |

| reply to Gone Fishing I've been trying it out for the past few days. It works most of the time, but I come across a document, here & there, that won't render properly (such as this). Shows nothing but empty colored boxes. Displays properly in Foxit, however. |
