Re: [Cable] Frequent disconnects

It would be nice if we had some idea, clue as to what the problem(s) is(are) that is causing this for so many of us all over the place.
Is it Rogers messing upgrades?
Is it modem and or firmware?
Is it at TSI's end?
This is not isolated to one area, it's all over the place and judging by the tech support that has been and is being offered combined with the silence of anything "official" being said, I can only imagine that they either truly do not have any idea as to cause and remedy, or they are fully aware and don't want to say in fear that we will all either quit, demand refunds, or affect their business in a negative way. Never thought I would be thinking and saying that about this company!

Most likely not the upgrades as their would be a lot more issues and it would just be disconnects.

This is most likely the greatest possibility being that most users are using outdated firmwares that are no longer approved for use on the Rogers network.

No chance in this as the only part of the TekSavvy network that is used is after the CMTS aggregation device, anything before that which would affect your modem is Rogers.
